A curious, analytical mind with a calm, organised way of getting things done
About me
I am a researcher and analyst working on digital governance, data practices, and AI, with a particular focus on emerging infrastructures such as synthetic data. I am interested in how standards, regulations, and technical arrangements shape responsibility, decision-making, and risk — and how these dynamics play out in organisational settings.
My work spans both analysis and practice and I feel most at home in complex environments where issues need to be understood carefully, people need to be brought together, and work needs to move forward in a structured way. Beyond analysing systems, I organise processes: structuring discussions, coordinating collaboration across domains, and keeping track of what needs to be done.
A good example of how I work is InfraReveal, a participatory visualisation tool I co-developed with colleagues and a research engineer to make data flows and infrastructures visible and discussable. Developing it required conceptual clarity, technical collaboration, and steady coordination, which is the kind of work I thrive on.
I combine analytical depth with a relational and practical approach. I care about quality, reliability, and long-term relevance, and I am motivated by intellectually demanding work that also involves responsibility and follow-through.
When I am not thinking about infrastructures and governance, I am usually at home with my cats, cooking something that takes longer than strictly necessary, or watching the snow fall (ideally without having to walk through it for too long).
